Jeanette Olson, 74, passed away at her home in Ottertail on April 1.
Jeanette was born on July 26, 1939 to Victor and Amanda "Frances" (Anderson) Johnson in Sebeka, Minn. She married Gerald Olson on Aug. 17, 1957 in Wadena. She worked as an accountant and filled her spare hours bowling, fishing and gardening. She was a member of the Ottertail Lions Club. Precious time was spent with her family.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry on June 18, 1996; parents, Victor and Frances; and sister, Dorothy VanHorn.
She is survived by her son, Victor (Kathy Lilley) Olson of Perham; daughters, Theresa (Scot) Evans of Lindstrom, Minn. and Jeannie (Keven) Fernstrom of Andover, Minn.; grandson, Josh; granddaughters, Misty, Nicole and Alison; great-grandchildren, Austin, Devyn, Kora and Kalla; brothers, Calvin (Kathy) Johnson of Ottertail; and sister, Arlene (Carroll) Eckman of Embarrass, Minn.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on April 4 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena, Minn., with Father Aaron Kuhn as celebrant. Pallbearers were Victor Olson, Josh Olson, Austin Jelinek-Hill, Keven Fernstrom, Brad Crabtree and Harley Petranek. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Wadena.
