Robin Cunningham, Smoky Hills Art, will teach two jewelry making classes in November at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
Intro to Jewelry Making takes place Thursday, Nov. 19 and teaches the basics of jewelry making using gemstone and mineral beads. Cunningham will discuss what beginning jewelry makers need to know about the tools and how to make lasting quality jewelry.
The class will begin with earrings and move into bracelets. Handouts will be provided.
Intro to Jewelry Making is Nov. 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the NY Mills Regional Cultural Center and is for ages 12 and older. Cost of the class is $30 and the fee includes all supplies. A wide selection of beads will be available at the class. The class is limited to 10 people and registration ends Oct. 31.

The second class offered by is Jewelry: Moving Beyond the Basics and will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the cultural center.
Cunningham will review the basics from the first class making another pair of earrings, then move into learning more techniques such as making a pendant. This will be used to create a necklace, bracelet, or anklet of your choice.
More techniques can be offered if time permits. A wide selection of beads will be available at the class.
Cost of the class is $30 and the fee includes all supplies. The class is for ages 12 and older and is limited to 10 people. Registration ends Nov. 14.
