This story / monologue should be prepared in advance, and should last between 1 and 2 minutes. It may be true or fictional.

The musical audition will consist of vocal testing that will show range and skill. This is a musical, but some non-singers may be cast. It is necessary to prepare for the musical portion of the audition, and everyone who wants to be considered for the show must participate in the musical audition.

This well-known and loved musical is a story about Joseph, a father's favorite son, and his travels after he is sold by his jealous brothers. The musical conveys many messages and themes, but two of the prominent ones are forgiveness and belief in oneself.
