Rural Perham murder: Pipe wrench reportedly used in brutal killing of mother, son




Kaye Roberts Sellers, 56, of Madisonville, Ky., passed away June 6, 2014 at her home.

She was born on July 4, 1957 in Perham to the late Helen and Walter Roberts. She was a LPN at the Eddie Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Ky. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham and was president of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 5480.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Roberts.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Kyle) Ford of Madisonville; her brothers, Gerald (Peg) Roberts of Hibbing, Minn., Dean (Lynn) Roberts and Arlin (Grace) Roberts of Grand Rapids, Minn.; her sisters, Sharon (Randy) Dalluge of Osseo, Minn., Judy (Bob) Johnson of Champlin, Minn., Connie (Steve) McComb of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Vicki Schwanke of Perham; her grandson, Peyton Ford of Madisonville; her granddaughter, Kaylyn Ford of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on June 11 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jeff Calhoun officiating. Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eddie Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Kentucky.
