Kratzke finishes career with best state finish

In her final swim at the Minnesota Class A State Swimming and Diving Championships, Perham/New York Mills senior Kelsey Kratzke finished 16th in the 100-breaststroke at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota.

The trip to the state meet was Kratzke's third.

Kratzke qualified in the preliminaries Friday in 15th place with a time of 1:09.72. She matched Anika Ellingson of Litchfield, with the same qualifying time.
