A pair of losses to Sebeka, 73-43, and Verndale, 51-42, kept the New York Mills Eagles girls basketball team on a seven-game skid.

Sebeka entered the game with a record of 14-3 and presented multiple matchup problems for the Eagles, one being a former teammate.

Former Eagle Alicia Boe led all scorers with 18 points.
