VFW Post 4020 and Auxiliary would like to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to the following people: Sandra Weiser-Matthews for organizing the Veterans Day program at Perham High School, the students who took part in the program and the students who showed their respect by quietly listening to the speakers. Also to the PHS band, which did a great job with the music, and the two young people who played Taps. We also want to thank Dr. Rose for his words of wisdom.

It was a job well done by all who participated, and is appreciated by the veterans, friends and families. We would also like to thank United Community Bank for furnishing and serving the veteran’s lunch at In Their Own Words Veterans Museum, and to Darla Ellingson, the museum director, for handling all the arrangements.

Millie Lauer, Perham, MN
