Letter: 'Minnesota Nice' - The good samaritans
Upon returning from church last Sunday, my cousin from out of town and I went to eat at a local restaurant - Betty's Pantry.
We sat a small table next to a large one, which was occupied by a family whom I presumed to be returning from their place of worship.
As they were leaving, the gentleman greeted us by saying, "Have a good day," and their daughter gave us a nice smile.
Moments later, the waitress came to our table and said that they had taken care of our bill.
We inquired about who they might be. She just said they were local people who come there frequently to eat.
We wish to thank these wonderful people. There should be more of us like they were.
May God bless them.
