Local man wins book award
Frazee native Paul Sailer has won a Best Aviation Writing award with his book, "The Oranges Are Sweet." The award was given at the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame award ceremony on April 28 in Bloomington, Minn. The book follows Major Don M. Beerbower from his upbringing in a small town in Minnesota to his final fighter squadron mission during WWII. Sailer now resides in rural Wadena.
