Longest Night Music Fest: Coming up Dec. 21 in New York Mills
At the winter solstice, the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center will open its doors to an evening of music, food, and conversation with friends and neighbors.
Musicians from the region gather and perform on the night of the 21st of December for this annual tradition, giving back to the community on the darkest evening of the year.
The show is free, informal, and will begin at the cultural center at 7 p.m. No reservations are required and everyone is invited to attend.
Musicians coming to the Longest Night this year include Elisa Korenne of NY Mills and David Stoddard of Fergus Falls. Also performing will be Dave Virnala of NY Mills and John Perry of NY Mills. These musicians will be joined by NY Mills Chief of Police Jim Van Schaick and Pelican Rapids newspaper writer, Lou Hoglund.
Other artists not yet confirmed will be at the festival, as well.
