Loretta Agnes Philomena Schwartz, 86, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena.

She was born May 16, 1921 to Herman and Emma (Tabery) Rebischke in Frazee. She attended Wadena School Dist. 145 and received her GED in 1981.

She married Casper "Cap" Schwartz Aug. 27, 1940 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena. As a member of the Wadena community for 80 years she belonged to Christian Moth-ers, Catholic Aid, two home-makers clubs, the Wadena Garden Club and the VFW Auxiliary. She also served as a home health aide for 10 years.

Surviving are her hus-band; son, Gary (Jean) of Park Rapids; six daughters, Deian (Ronald) Guck of Hastings, Marge Mohs of Bluffton, Sister Jean Schwartz of Avon, Barbara Besett of Bonita Springs, FL, Audrey Davis of Ottertail and Mary (Greg) Lunzer of Stillwater; two brothers, Sylvester (Frankie) of Eagle River, AK and Lorny (Caro-line) of Anchorage, AK; brother-in-law, Ray Schwartz of Los Angeles; two sisters, Rosella Son-steby of Anoka and Johanna (Armand) Barasa of Ana-heim, CA; sisters-in-law, Ruth Rebischke of Spring Valley, WI, Marge Re-bischke of Rosemont and Anne Schwartz of Cologne; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Roger Mohs; granddaughter, Jennifer Mohs; brothers Ferdinand, Wilferd, Joseph, Lloyd and Jerry; and sister, Catherine Schwartz.

Honorary casket bear-ers: all of her grandchil-dren.

Active casket bearers: her grandsons Brian Guck, Joseph Schwartz, Dennis Mohs, Lincoln and Logan Davis and David Lunzer.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, Feb. 8 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena with Father Donald Wagner as celebrant.

Interment: Calvary Ceme-tery in Wadena.
