Lundmark takes reins as nursing home administrator
Katie Lundmark is taking over the reins at Perham Memorial Hospital and Home as the senior director of long-term care.
That means that, after the hospital's and clinic's move to the new facility, Lundmark will take over as the nursing home administrator, including duties related to Briarwood and St. James Manor adult housing facilities.
To ensure a smooth transition from the hospital and clinic into their new locations, Lundmark will spend the next nine months focusing on making that happen. Together with each department, a plan will be implemented - one that maintains patient care, safety and convenience through the process.
Lundmark's experience in administrative healthcare dates back to her 1999 internship at Perham Memorial Hospital and Home. She later worked for Healthland Solutions, a hospital billing and patient record software company, and then as a business manager for Lakes Crisis Center in Detroit Lakes. Before Perham, she worked as a nursing home administrator with Sunnyside Care Center in Lake Park, Minn. and Pelican Valley Care Center in Pelican Rapids.
"I am overjoyed to be a part of the community at Perham Memorial Hospital and Home," Lundmark said in a press release. "The reputation Perham has for the household model of care in its nursing home reaches not only regionally, statewide or national, but internationally as well."
