M State’s Meehl wins MCAC academic honors
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – Perham native Kelli Meehl, a member of the volleyball team at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls, has been recognized as an Academic Award Winner by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference for fall semester.
Athletes earn MCAC academic recognition if they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better at the end of the semester that includes the majority of their sports season and they complete a minimum of 12 credits during the semester. Kelli is a freshman at M State.
The Spartans this year advanced to the national Division III volleyball tournament, where they finished in fourth place.
As a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, M State serves more than 9,200 students in credit courses each year in more than 120 career and liberal arts programs at its four campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena, and through eCampus. By partnering with communities, the college also provides custom training services and other responsive training programs.
