Two people were injured and one man was arrested after leaving the scene of a broadside accident on Highway 10 between Wadena and Verndale Monday.
Michael R. Kohler, 21, of Pelican Rapids was treated and released.
Carl C. Dahlvang, 53, of Staples suffered minor injuries, according to the State Patrol. Both were alone in their vehicles.
Kohler was eastbound on Highway 10 in a 2003 Dodge Neon.
Dahlvang was southbound on 151st Avenue in a 1993 Ford F150 pickup truck.
The pickup truck entered onto Highway 10, entered the median crossover, then drove into the driver's door of the Neon, according to the State Patrol.
Dahlvang allegedly abandoned the pickup truck and fled the scene on foot, but was located walking on a road in the area.
He was arrested and booked into the Wadena County Jail for criminal vehicular operation; second-degree DWI; leaving the scene of a personal injury accident; and driving after cancellation of his license, according to the State Patrol.
Assisting at the scene were Verndale police, Wadena police, Wadena County deputies, Verndale firefighters and Tri County Ambulance crew.
The crash was reported at 5:11 p.m. on dry four-lane blacktop.
