Man pinned between tractor and pickup

A 32-year-old male suffered injuries to his pelvic area and legs after being pinned between a tractor and pickup truck in a farm accident west of Erhard early Monday.

Travis Tollerud, of Pelican Rapids, was doing his morning chores when he walked between the tractor and pickup, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The tractor's engine had been started moments earlier, and it slipped into gear as Tollerud walked by, pinning him.

The extent of his injuries are not known for certain, but are not believed to be life threatening. He was taken to Fergus Falls Hospital.

Rothsay Fire and Rescue and Pelican Rapids Ambulance also responded to the scene.
