'Miss Tootsie' pageant styles area men as formal dress wearing women

Come see a local pastor, auctioneer, police chief, firemen, students, and businessmen dressed up in women's formal wear for an evening of fun.

A Miss Tootsie Contest will be held this Friday, April 9, at 7 p.m. in the James Mann Auditorium at the New York Mills School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Men will be dressed up in women's attire while doing an opening dance, talent, casual wear, on stage question and formal wear. 

There is also a people's choice princess crowned, voted for by those who attend the contest.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the New York Mills Pageant.

This year's "Miss Tootsie" contestants include: Tim Erp, Bert Nelson, Matt Olson, Scott Koennicke, Jeremy O'Day, Jarrod Norton, Spencer Imsande, Tim Dettwiler, Rob Witt, Kevin Dreyer, and Pastor Ryan Stout.
