More than 50 vehicles slide off icy roads Monday in northwest, west-central Minn.
Motorists driving too fast for "obvious poor conditions" led to 52 vehicles sliding off icy roads Monday in the Minnesota State Patrol's northwest and west-central regions, Sgt. Jesse Grabow says.
Troopers also responded to 21 crashes, 14 of which were rollovers and three of which involved injuries, said Grabow, the northwest region's public information officer.
