Morrison County burglary may break Wadena case
WADENA -- Two arrests by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office may break the case of a burglary at Blueberry Pines golf course.
On Aug. 24, investigators with the Wadena County Sheriff's Office received a teletype about the arrest of two people in connection with a burglary at a golf course in Morrison County with similarities to the Wadena County case.
"The two individuals Morrison County arrested are of high interest to Wadena County due to the recent burglary at Blueberry Pines Golf Course," Sheriff Mike Carr said in a press release. "These two burglaries were committed in a similar manner. Three bags containing a wide variety of burglary tools, two-way radios, portable police scanners, etc. [were] recovered after a search warrant [was] executed on the suspect vehicle."
Carr said the two suspects, Brett Paul Martin, 35, of Annandale, Minn., and James Irving Dale, 45, of Annandale, Minn., are suspects in golf course burglaries in Todd County and Meeker County, and may be linked to other golf course burglaries in the area.
