Most township annual meetings, elections March 9

Township voters throughout the area will be going to the polls March 9.

There is at least two notable exceptions, however. The Perham Town Board decided last year to move the annual township elections to coincide with the November general elections.

Rush Lake will also not have an election. But Rush and Perham townships will hold the annual meetings on the traditional, second Tuesday of March date. Rush will host its annual meeting at 8 p.m.

The Perham Township meeting will be at 8:05 p.m.

Here is some of the other township election and meeting information:

Dora Township: Polls will be open from 5-8 p.m. One three-year supervisor and the two-year clerk's position are on the ballot.

Otto Township: Polls will be open from 5-8 p.m. The annual meeting will be at 8:05 p.m.

Gorman Township: Polls are open from 5-8 p.m. The annual meeting is 8:05 p.m. One supervisor and the clerk are on the ballot.

Pine Lake Township: Voters will decide on a supervisor and clerk for the board. Polls are open from 5-8 p.m. and the annual meeting will start at 8:10 p.m.

Corliss Township: There are two positions on the ballot, and polls are open from 5 to 8 p.m. The annual meeting is set to start at 8:05 p.m.

Homestead Township: A supervisor and a clerk will be elected, with polls open from 5-8 p.m. The annual townshp meeting is at 8:15 p.m.

Dead Lake Township: Polls are open from 5-8 p.m. The annual meeting is at 8:15 p.m.
