New York Mills places fifth at Class 1A softball tournament

NORTH MANKATO, Minn. – New York Mills  (22-4) scored a 10-0 victory against Kenyon-Wanamingo to earn fifth place at the Minnesota Class 1A state softball tournament.

A five run third inning sparked the victory, with the big hit coming off the bat of Kaitlyn Kane. 

LeAnn Flanigan drew three walks in the game for New York Mills. 

Autumn Roberts got the win, going five innings and allowing four hits.
