NY Mills City Hall Ballroom to host play on May 6
CLIMB Theatre will perform "Return the Honor" at the New York Mills City Hall Ballroom on Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m.
"Return to Honor" is a play about the challenges of post-deployment life. The 40 minute play is free, and appropriate to family and friends of war veterans, as well as to the community members in their lives. Adults and families with children 10 and older are encouraged to attend.
In her three-person show, award-winning playwright Buffy Sedlachek educates the community about some of the difficulties faced by many veterans, and informs military personnel about the resources available to support their successful reintegration.
NY Mills is the fifth stop on the play's tour of seven communities in the Viking Library System from April 30 to May 7. This project is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and a grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation of Minnesota, and is sponsored by the NY Mills Public Library and Viking Library System.
