NY Mills student receives American Ad Fed awards
Minnesota State University Moorhead senior Ashley Jonas of New York Mills has received two awards from the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota (AAF-ND).
Jonas received the Achievement Award, which is given to junior and senior students showing promise in advertising, communications, public relations, marketing or graphic design. She also received the Larry Gauper Advertising Creativity Scholarship, awarded to a junior or senior who demonstrates exceptional creative talent, passion for the advertising industry and a commitment to a communications-based career.
Jonas is the daughter of Rosina and Scott Hagen of NY Mills.
Jonas will graduate in May with a major in graphic communications (digital design and production emphasis) and a mass communications minor. She is a graphic design intern in the MSUM Marketing Department.
The competition is open to all undergraduate students at all colleges in North Dakota and in Moorhead, Minnesota. The awards will be presented at the AAF-ND's ADDY Awards night in February.
