NY Mills students participate in community clean up
New York Mills High School students participated in Community Day on May 11. Organized by the NY Mills Student Council, the purpose of the event was to thank the NY Mills community for its support of the students and school.
Students participated in various projects throughout the day, including maintenance at Lund Park, Hidden Trails Park, Central Park, Sculpture Park, Old Mid State property, Smith Park, the football field and the school grounds.
Students also served food at the local food shelf, recycling areas and a few private properties.
Each student received an EPIC (Everyone Participating in Community) T-shirt from the student council. Each grade had a different colored shirt.
