NY Mills Trade Show set for March 19
Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 19 - the annual New York Mills Trade Show is back.
Sponsored by the NY Mills Civic and Commerce Association, this year's show will go from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NY Mills High School.
Admission to the trade show is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item.
A pancake breakfast will be held in the commons area from 9-11 a.m. Plates cost $2.
Concessions provided by Bandwagon will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A book fair, drawings and giveaways will also be going on throughout the day. Proceeds from the fair will go to the Elementary School Media Center.
Several seminars and demonstrations are scheduled throughout the morning, including a seminar on invasive species at 10 a.m., a fishing seminar with local pro Scott Perala at 10:30 a.m., and a tae kwon do demonstration at 11 a.m. All events will take place in the commons area.
The East Otter Tail Daycare Association, together with the NY Mills Police Department will be doing fingerprinting of children during the day.
There will also be three draws of $50 in Mills Marks at the end of the day. Winners must be present during the drawing to claim their winnings.
Last year, more than 70 vendors set up at the event, which showcases local businesses and organizations.
