NYM Boys Basketball: Mills drops finale at Concordia against Barnesville

The Eagles finished their three-game run at the Concordia Classic on Dec. 30 against Barnesville. The Trojans, the third Section 6A team New York Mills faced over the holiday, used a balanced attack to pick up a 67-42 win.

Eleven different players scored for Barnesville, including six different players with six or more points. Five different Trojans had at least five points in the first half as they took a 39-20 lead.

Mills was led by Erik Tumberg, who finished with 13 points. Adam Snelgrove finished with 10.

New York Mills will begin the New Year with a pair of Park Region Conference road games at Verndale on Jan. 5, and at Sebeka on Jan. 7. Sebeka is ranked No. 5 in Class A.
