NYM Boys Basketball: Mills snap losing streak at Pillager
A six-day break from competition seemed to be just what the Eagles needed as they snapped a four-game losing streak with a 73-58 win at Pillager Thursday night.
Isaiah Bauck had a big night for New York MIlls, leading all scorers with 30 points. Adam Snelgrove added 16 points with Erik Tumberg putting in 10.
NY Mills has now won four in a row over the Huskies.
Tuesday at Henning
Mills will be on the road again Tuesday night at Henning.
The Eagles picked up their first win of the season against Henning on Dec. 8, 55-49. The two teams split their games last season.
Jan. 28 will be a crazy night of hoops and wrestling in New York Mills. The boy's basketball team will be in the Sports Center against Menahga. The J.V. game will start at 6:15 p.m.
The Eagle wrestlers will be in the high school gym for a dual match against Barnesville. J.V. matches there start at 6 p.m.
On Jan. 29, the boys basketball team will be part of a doubleheader with the girls at Bertha-Hewitt. The varsity boys will be in the new gym at 6:15 p.m. The varsity girls will follow at 7:45 p.m.
The Eagle boys will get a full week off before starting a three-game home stand by hosting Sebeka on Feb. 5.
