NYM Track: Girls 7th, boys 8th in Wadena

The New York Mills track and field teams were in Wadena Thursday for the Browne Invitational. The Eagle girls finished seventh with 32.5 points. The Mills boys were eighth with 34 points.

The girls were led by Alicia Boe, who finished first in the 800m run with a time of 2:28.0. She also finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:06.09.

Brittnie Menze took first in the shot put with a throw of 35'3".

For the boys, Brandon Menze won both the discus (132'4") and the shot put (44'3").
