Olympic Trials: Racing schedule set for Gabriele Anderson

The 2012 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team Trials will begin Thursday, June 21 in Eugene, Ore., at Hayward Field.

Perham's Gabriele Anderson's quest for a spot on the U.S.A. Olympic team will begin a week into the Trials on Thursday, June 28.

Anderson will be attempting to qualify for the London games in the 1500-meter run.

The qualifying race will be held on day 7, June 28, at 3:50 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

The finals in the 1500m are one of the last races scheduled and will be held near the end of the Trials on July 1, at 4:23 p.m. PST.
