One adult, two juveniles injured in crash north of Perham
Tuesday, September 28, at 7:30 a.m., a vehicle, driven by Ashley Lovo, 25, of Frazee, failed to yield at the intersection of County Highway 51 and County Highway 60. As Lovo's vehicle entered Highway 60, it was struck by a vehicle driven by Paul Kloster, 56, of Perham. Both vehicles entered the ditch north of the intersection.
At the time of the accident, there was a thick fog surrounding the intersection.
Lovo and two juveniles were injured in the crash, two of the injuries are listed as serious. Kloster was not injured. The three injured occupants were transported by ambulance to Perham Memorial Hospital. Lovo received injuries to her leg and pelvis. One juvenile received facial injuries, the other non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation and alcohol is not a factor.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, along with Perham Fire and Rescue, Perham Ambulance and the Perham Police Department.
