One hurt in broadside crash in New York Mills

One person was injured and three others were unharmed in a broadside car accident in New York Mills on Wednesday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2002 Chrysler Sebring was traveling west on Highway 10 when it struck a 2000 Chevy Blazer broadside while attempting to turn onto Centennial Drive.

Jessica Kundo, age 26 of Burtrum, Minn., a passenger in the Sebring, suffered non life-threatening injuries in the crash. The driver of that vehicle, Jennifer Erickson, 33 of New York Mills, was not injured.

The driver of the Blazer, Matthew Fresonke, age 29, of Perham, was not injured. His passenger, Robyn Habedank, age 32, was also unharmed.

According to the State Patrol, roads were dry at the time of the accident, which was reported at about 2 p.m.

The New York Mills Police Department assisted at the scene.
