Pamela J. Cripps
Pamela J. Cripps, age 61, resident of Vergas, MN, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the University Of Minnesota Medical Center - Fairview Hospital.
Pamela Joyce Lutz was born November 12, 1945 to the parents of Jon and Ida Mae (King) Lutz in Chicago, IL. She lived in Murphysboro, IL until she was nine years old. She attended a number of boarding schools until she was 14, when she then moved in with her parents. She married John Schultz in Chicago in 1963. They moved to Cass Lake, MN. While in Cass Lake, they were caretakers of Stoney Point Resort. They later moved to Walker, MN where Pamela ran a greenhouse and also "Pamela and J's Pick A Pup Kennel". In 1986, she married William Cripps in Brainerd, MN. They made their home in Vergas where Pamela attended Detroit Lakes Technical College to learn to be a Chef. She finished her career working at flea markets as B&P Novelties. Pamela enjoyed beading jewelry, selling her Chihuahua's and most importantly visiting on the phone with her children.
She will be remembered and deeply missed by her husband William of Vergas, her children: Dawn and her husband Kenneth Klier of Nevis, MN, Theresa Elshaug of Motley, MN, Maryanne Schultz of Frazee, MN, Pamela and her husband LaVern Pickett of Frazee, John Schultz of Detroit Lakes, MN, Corrie and her husband Shawn Greenleaf of Waubun, MN and Benjamin Cripps of Vergas. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter; Miki, grandsons; Rowdy and Dominic and brother; John.
Pamela's Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Furey Funeral Home of Frazee, MN. Visitation will be held at Furey Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
