Hundreds attended the two-day Eva Hoaby benefit in Perham and New York Mills last weekend to show support for four-year-old Eva, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor about one month ago. Benefit organizer Kenny Friese said in a phone interview, "We live in two very, very caring and extremely generous communities, to rally around a little girl like this. It was beyond our imagination successful, and this will help the family tremendously." For updates on Eva's battle with cancer, visit www.caringbridge.org/ visit/evahoaby.
