MOORHEAD -- The Perham boys golf team put some distance between their top spot in the Heart O' Lakes Conference and second place Hawley after a victory at the Meadows in Moorhead.

Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal aided the Jacket cause finishing in third place with a team score of 333.

Frazee's Beau Hanson was back in form winning medalist honors shooting a 68, seven strokes better than Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal's Cody Cook in second place.

Perham's Toby Curtis finished in third place with a score of 77 and a scorecard playoff.

Nick Kalina finished in sixth carding a 79.

The Yellowjackets won the meet finishing 13 strokes better than Frazee with a 317. Perham won the event without the services of senior Dan Cavanagh.

The Jackets have one conference meet remaining, Thursday, May 17, at Willow Creek in Barnesville.

The conference Championships will be Tuesday, May 22, at Wildflower Golf Course in Detroit Lakes.
