Perham Crossings wins top honors at hotel conference
Crossings by GrandStay Inn and Suites in Perham was honored with two prestigious awards at the GrandStay Hospitality, LLC Conference on Jan. 9-10.
The first award was given to honor hotel staff for their exceptional customer service. The 2012 Every Guest - Every Time Customer Service Award recognizes consistent high scores on both an electronic guest survey system and quality assurance evaluations.
The second award was the 2012 Crossings by GrandStay Property of the Year, which honors the single best hotel property within the brand. This award recognizes the efforts of the Perham hotel owners, manager and staff for delivering the very best service, cleanliness and accommodations above all others within the chain.
"We were elated when we heard," said Amy Klouda, general manager of the Perham Crossings, in a telephone interview. "A huge congratulations to my staff; without them and their efforts, and all our wonderful guests, we would not be where we are today. And thanks to all the businesses in town that recommend us. Without them, we wouldn't be as successful as we are. Without all of them, we wouldn't be great."
Klouda said the hotel will continue to strive for excellence in the future.
"We want to be known as the best," she said. "We want this to be the place to come - Perham, Minnesota, at the Crossings. We have a great place to stay, and offer a ton of things to do."
"We are extremely proud of the Perham location and all they accomplish each day to make the hotel feel like home to each and every guest that stays there," said GrandStay Hospitality President, Jon Kennedy, in a press release. "The dedication to caring service which happens in Perham is what both our brands stand for."
