Perham-Dent School District opens superintendent search again

The Perham-Dent School Board once again opened its search for a superintendent.

The board originally offered the position to Mike Kolness of Ada-Borup, who was chosen earlier this month from a group of five finalists. Kolness turned the position down.

The board decided during a work session April 21 to post the position again. The board took applications for the position until April 27 at which point a committee screened applications. The number of finalists chosen for the position will determine dates for interviews.

Perham-Dent Superintendent Tamara Uselman is leaving the district to take a superintendent position with Bismarck Public Schools in North Dakota.
