No. 8 Fosston/Bagley versus No. 9 Roseau. Winner faces Perham.

No. 6 Fergus Falls versus No. 11 Staples-Motley. Winner faces Detroit Lakes.

No. 7 Park Rapids Area versus No. 10 East Grand Forks/Sacred Heart. Winner faces Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus.

The preliminaries begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls. The quarterfinals will follow at 12:30 p.m.; semis at 4 p.m. and the finals at 6 p.m., in a huge day of wrestling, as the Section 8A tournament will be taking place at the REA, as well.

Perennial favorite Frazee (11-0, 3-0) is the top seed in 8A. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (16-1, 6-0) is seeded second.
