Perham Health gets new VP of Ancillary Services
Perham Health CEO, Chuck Hofius, recently announced the promotion of Pat Sjolie to Vice President of Ancillary Services. Sjolie will assume her new leadership position on September 24.
Sjolie joined Perham Health in November 2007 as the laboratory director. In July 2010, she was promoted to director of diagnostic services, overseeing both imaging and lab. As the VP of Ancillary Services, Sjolie will oversee the lab, imaging, physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, speech therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation departments.
"Pat has an excellent background as both a clinician in laboratory science and as a manager at Perham Health," commented Hofius. "She also brings a great background in healthcare education as she served as program director of the medical lab technician program at M-State in Fergus Falls for nine years. Pat has a calm, steady, and creative leadership style that will serve us well."
Sjolie obtained her bachelor of science degree in clinical laboratory science and her master of science degree in laboratory science at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Previous to her employment at M-State, Sjolie worked at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls for 19 years.
Sjolie and her husband, Kirk, live on Star Lake near Dent. They have two adult children: Jake, who lives in Duluth, and Megan, who lives in Fergus Falls.
"I strongly believe in Perham Health's philosophy of patient and family-centered care and the outstanding patient services we strive to provide each and every day," said Sjolie. "I'm very proud to be a part of Perham Health and feel privileged to work with wonderful people."
