Perham library concludes art history series

The Perham Area Public Library concludes its three-part art history program on Monday, April 11 at 7-8:30 p.m. when artist and art educator Lorene McIntosh explores the style and influence of the Impressionists.

The free program is part of the "Bluestocking Salon" series offered for adults and teens, funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and sponsored by Viking Library System, Perham Area Public Library and the Kaddatz Galleries.

When feasible, McIntosh will visit a local school on the day of her library program to offer related arts education and activities to students.

Other libraries hosting the series on different dates are Douglas County Library in Alexandria, Fergus Falls Public Library, Morris Public Library and Wheaton Community Library.
