The Perham Police Department responded to 21 calls from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31.

Oct. 28

Police found a large roll of wire that was possibly stolen. The owner of a local electric company was notified and took possession unless someone else claims the wire.

Oct. 28

A citizen reported a missing purse.

Oct. 29

Police responded to a fight in progress.

Oct. 29

Police checked on a patron of a local bar who had been drinking and involved in an argument earlier that night.

Oct. 29

Police provided additional security for a gubernatorial candidate visiting the city.

Oct. 29

A caller reported they were poisoned. Police were unable to locate the individual. The reporting party later called back and requested officers return because someone pointed a gun at them. The individual was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Police stopped a driver with a cancelled license. The driver was arrested for driving after cancellation- inimical to public safety, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police issued a citation for driving after revocation and no insurance.

A report of a possible burglary at a residence was taken. The party believes the possible burglary could have taken place in the last two to three weeks.

A citizen reported their dwelling was broken into. Police arrested an individual on 2nd degree burglary, criminal damage to property and trespassing charges in relation to the incident.

Police responded to a vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

Police received a report of emus and goats on a road. Parties who owned the animals herded them back into their pens. No one was injured.

Police stopped a driver whose license had been revoked. Driver was cited for driving after revocation.

A resident reported eggs being thrown at their residence.

A resident reported three cell phones and a wallet were stolen from a party at their residence.

A report was made of a vehicle going the wrong way on U.S. Highway 10. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Police responded to a property dispute. The parties were separated and worked out the issue.

A citizen made an animal complaint of a dog being attached to a "very long leash." Police were unable to locate the dog.

A citizen came to the police department with questions regarding a civil matter and possible criminal drug connections.
