PERHAM — After a lackluster performance in the season opener dropping the first game of a doubleheader 10-3 to the Staples-Motley Cardinals, the Perham Yellowjackets’ offense caught fire earning a split with a 15-5 ten-rule shortened game in six innings in Mid-State baseball action here Tuesday.

“Game one we came in with not a lot of intensity,” Centerfielder Josh Still said. “No one was cheering; we expected to blow them out and that bit us in the butt really bad.”
