Perham swimmers fifth at Bemidji
The Perham boys swimming and diving team finished fifth at last weekend's Bemidji Invitational.
Detroit Lakes dominated the meet finishing over 40 points in front of second place Grand Rapids. Grand Forks finished third, Bemidji fourth and the Moorhead Spuds took sixth behind Perham.
The 200-medey relay team of Ben Collette, Zach Langendorfer, Randy Swanson and T.J. Studer was the top finishing Yellowjacket team taking third place in a time of 1:56.96.
Studer and Langendorfer combined with Ben Sullivan and Jayden Cullen to take a fifth place finish in the 200-freestyle relay.
Three Yellowjackets finished in the top 10 100-yard backstroke results.
Collette was fifth, Randy Swanson finished seventh and Chad Hofland took ninth.
Langendorfer finished fifth in the 100-yard breastroke.
