The New York Mills Marching Eagles were one of three marching bands that participated in the Turtle Fest Grand Parade last Friday. As a salute to area veterans, the parade paused for a performance of the National Anthem by the Marching Eagles and Sadie Stoll. The Lakes Area Mountaineer Club simulated the shooting off of canons as a tribute, as well. There were 104 entries in the parade this year, and the streets were lined with spectators.
