After the Trojans (8-9, 6-5 Park Region) got on the board with a run in the top of the first, Perham scored twice in the bottom of the first on a two-run double by Nate Schmitz.

After pitcher Brad Ellingson struck out the side in the second, Perham exploded for six runs to go up 8-1. Anthony Ruther started the scoring with a two-run double and eventually scored on the back end of a double steal. Ben Bucholz, Sam Meyer and Shane Miller all connected on RBI singles to keep the rally going.

Ruther, Schmitz and Tyler Lynne had run scoring hits in the bottom of the fourth to put the Jackets up by 10. Ruther went 4-for-4 in the game with three RBI. Schmitz finished 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Lynne came in to pitch the fifth and close out the win for Ellingson, who struck out nine and allowed just one hit after that slow start in the first inning.

The Jackets have now won their last three games against Sebeka.
