Brad Ellingson's first home run of the season proved to be a big one for Perham, which rallied from a 3-0 deficit to post a 5-4 win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in Minnesota high school baseball on Thursday.

Ellingson connected for the two-run home run in the fifth inning for Perham, who were trailing 3-0 heading into the inning. He said the team struggled against D-G-F's ace Luke Gable through the fifth, but once they broke through, they were able to stay on him to rally for the win.

D-G-F came back with one in the bottom of the fifth, but Perham tied the game in the sixth on a RBI double by Sam Meyer and a pinch hit RBI single by Jeremy Lahr. In the top of the seventh a double by Nate Schmitz drove in Anthony Ruther with the game winning run.

Taylor Doll improved to 5-0 on the season with a complete game win. He overcame a rough start to strike out 14 D-G-F batters and allowed just one hit over the final five innings.

Correction

Jeremy Lahr, not Tyler Lynne, who came in to pitch the fifth inning of Perham's game against Sebeka last week to close out the win for Brad Ellingson. We regret the error.
