The ability for us to stop runs and not panic when they came at us was the key," Cresap said. "The second half we played a lot harder and did a much better job of rebounding. It's great win for us on the road, especially at D-G-F."

After holding on to a four-point lead at the half, Perham outscored D-G-F 34-25 in the second half. They also out-rebounded the Rebels 30-18. It's the first time this season D-G-F has been out-rebounded, according to Cresap.

Tobkin and Gabbard both had big games for the Jackets. Gabbard had 10 points, five assists and two steals. Tobkin finished 15 points and three steals. Ben Bucholz had another solid game with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The Rebels beat Perham three times last season, including a 67-60 victory in the first round of the 8AA playoffs.
