Strengths:

Perham should have a very good rebounding team this year. They will possess good size along with some players with good leaping ability. As is the trademark of coach Cresap, the Jackets will be a very good defensive team as the year goes along. They have very good players to work with and they seem very excited about the season which will make it fun for everyone.

Season Outlook:

Pelican Rapids, Hawley, Breckenridge, and D-G-F are the favorites in the HOL. Pelican Rapids will be a strong favorite for the Section 8AA title. They bring back many returning players from last year's section final team.

Pequot Lakes, Crosby-Ironton, and East Grand Forks will all bring strong teams to the section tournament.

Coaches Quote:

"I feel we will be a very competitive team by the end of the year. We need to find some leadership and some mental toughness before we will compete with the top teams. I am very excited about the 2008-2009 Jackets. TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More." Dave Cresap
