The Jackets needed HOL leaders Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal to come back to the pack in the final 18-hole event, which was worth double points in the final conference standings. They also needed to shoot a low round to catch H/U-H.

Neither happened as H/U-H ran away with the team title Tuesday with a 329. They also took the sesason title with 18 points.

Perham finished fifth Tuesday at Wildflower, shooting a 347. They finished the season standings in second with 32 points.

D-G-F's Chris Clark was the medalist on Tuesday with a 77. Frazee's Beau Hanson earned the HOL's individual championship with a season average of 38.1.

Perham's Evan Arvig was fourth in the season standings with a 39.1 average. Dan Cavanagh was sixth (39.3) and Zach Phelps was 11th (40.9). Phelps had Perham's low score Tuesday with an 82.

HOL at Barnesville

The Jackets had finished third in the final regular season HOL meet in Barnesville last Thursday. Perham shot a 165, seven strokes behind D-G-F (158). H/U-H was second with a 161.

D-G-F's Clark won a three player scorecard playoff to earn medalist honors with a 37. Cavanagh finished fourth with a 38.

Monday at PLGC

Only three teams showed up for the 18-hole Perham Invitational on Monday.

The Perham Black team, made-up of six varsity golfers, finished first with a 319. Nic Smith was medalist with a 76. The Perham Gold team finished fourth with a 348, led by Andrew Hurt's 83.
