Pirates upend Bluffton 4-1

Facing elimination, the Pirates got a solid performance from Tyler Doll and energy on the base paths from Gavin Biegler to eliminate an offensively lethargic Braves team in Bluffton 4-1.

Doll walked only three batters, struck out five, and allowed one run, unearned, scattering eight hits in a game that saw only two Braves reach third base.

Josh Sweere scored the only Bluffton run in the sixth inning.

By then, the Pirates had all they needed already on the scoreboard.
