Pole shed burglarized near Erhard

More than $5,000 worth of tools and other items have been stolen from a pole shed near Erhard.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary and theft of the items, which were only recently discovered missing from the seasonal residence.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, there was no apparent forced entry into the building.

Stolen were three portable generators, a wood splitter, chain saws, a table saw, a compound mitre saw and other items, the release states.

The theft occurred on Tonseth Lane, south of Maplewood State Park.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information on this burglary is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
