Prairie Wetlands Learning Center Open Saturdays This Summer
The Prairie Wetlands Learning Center will be open Saturdays in June, July and August (closed July 4) from 9 am - 4 pm. Each day an interpretive walk will be held from 10 to 11 am on various topics. Walks are free and no reservations are needed.
The Prairie Wetlands Learning Center features over 3.5 miles of trails, some paved and 325 acres of restored prairies and wetlands. The visitor center includes interpretive exhibits, the Sod House Theater and the Friends of the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center's Bluestem Store - filled with books and unique gifts.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is the principal Federal agency responsible for conserving, protecting and enhancing fish, wildlife and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
